Friday afternoon edutainment! “Edutainment” is a term coined by Walt Disney in the 1940s. Educational entertainment now encompasses so much more in 2020. Edutainment is used to change hearts, minds and lives. Learn with Bill Mills and FPP Chief Technologist Ryan how FPP is embracing this idea with the F5 initiative and the Escape Room exercise!
Going to College Without Debt: An Escape (College Debt) Room!
An Escape Room game that helps you learn! Enjoy a fun Friday afternoon or evening playing this game, inspired by poverty simulations, that helps an individual think about how money is spent when a budget is tight. The Escape (College Debt) Room exercise is designed to help students think through their financial options, choices and behaviors as they navigate their college experience. Will you make it out, on time, without debt? Participants who register for this session will receive a complimentary code to experience the Going to College Without Debt Escape Room!
As part of FPP’s Edutainment Initiative, this Escape Room was created with the cooperation of Florida College Access Network (FCAN), Florida Department of Education Office of Student Financial Assistance, and Valencia Community College.
