Youth Entrepreneurship Mentoring

Entrepreneurship and Leadership Skills play an important role and shape the future of our High School Students.  While in school, teens may develop many soft skills like leadership, emotional intelligence, creative and critical thinking, teamwork, social & communication skills which would help them whether they decide to pursue higher education, start a business or launch a career.

This session will focus on a movement that seeks to develop these critical skills in the rising generation of entrepreneurs.

Unlocking the Door to Housing for Marginalized Individuals

Many young people find themselves unprepared, for a variety of reasons, to obtain their first lease within the residential marketplace.  Most often they are not qualified based on their credit history, nor do they have sufficient funds to cover required move-in or security deposits.

This session addresses ways to assist potentially vulnerable segments in the community before they find themselves marginalized within the residential marketplace.

Computers, phones, and internet-connected devices are both tools and targets of cybercriminals worldwide.  It is estimated that in the United States alone, losses to individuals and small businesses due to cybercrime total in the tens of billions of dollars.

Although 1 in 3 people experience cybercrime, personal costs are often overlooked.  This session will focus on how individuals and small businesses are affected on a deeper level, and what can be done before, after or during a cybercrime attack.

This event will be hosted on the GoTo Webinar virtual platform.  Participants will receive the link to engage via e-mail upon registration.  Reminders will also be sent to registrants one day and one hour prior to the beginning of the session.
