The report features CFPB research on the early impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on consumers’ finances, and analysis of consumers’ ability to stay on top of their finances during the initial months of the pandemic.  We found that although consumers’ scores in financial well-being increased during the initial dates of the pandemic, many consumers’ financial standing declined during the same period.

Join CFPB researchers Eric Wilson, Marie Rush, and Scott Fulford for a presentation discussing key findings from the report, including the pandemic’s impact on financial well-being and differences among race and ethnicity, age, and other demographic groups.
