A Message From U.S. Small Business Administration

May 25th, 2021

The SBA is reminding small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofit organizations (PNPs) that June 23 is the filing deadline for federal economic injury disaster loans in Florida due to Hurricane Sally that occurred on September 14 – 28, 2020.

PNPs located in the Florida counties of Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington are eligible to apply. Examples of eligible non-critical PNP organizations include, but are not limited to food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools and colleges. To be considered for this assistance, PNPs need to apply by the deadline. Applicants may apply for declaration #16686 online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at DisasterLoan.sba.gov.
