The federal government has been providing financial relief to Americans during the coronavirus pandemic through stimulus payments – also known as Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) – for over the last year. However, millions of people still haven’t claimed payments they’re eligible for, including those experiencing homelessness.

Those experiencing homelessness can get EIPs and other tax benefits by filing a 2020 tax return by May 17, 2021 and claiming the Recovery Rebate Credit.
