FDIC’s Money Smart for Young People

Thursday, April 29, 2021, 2-3 p.m. ET

The FDIC released an enhanced version of its Money Smart for Young People curriculum. It includes new features such as modern, easy to read educator guides and additional activities. The Parent/Caregiver Guides have been enhanced with information that can introduce parents to youth banking programs.

Money Smart for Young People now also incorporates building block activities developed by the CFPB. The CFPB’s Building Blocks of Financial Capability provide a framework and identify effective strategies to teach students at different development stages the skills and knowledge associated with adult financial well-being.

Join us to learn more about the curriculum, where we will demonstrate new resources that help educators lead Money Smart for Young People lessons in both a virtual and in-person setting.
