FACA is excited to release this invitation to submit presentation proposals for the 41st Annual FACA training Conference. To be considered, proposals must contain the required criteria as outlined in this Request for Conference Presentation Proposals. Please submit your proposals to admin@faca.org by 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021.
FACA is seeking presenters who will provide training workshops and seminars to enhance overall performance and staff competencies related to the following areas of excellence in Community Action Agency organizational management and performance:
- General Community Action Post Pandemic Strategies
- Outcome Based Programs
- Community Engagement
- Public CAA Focused Strategies
- Data Collection and Analysis for Boards
- Alternative Funding Sources
- Needs Assessments
- Organizational Standards
- Board Self-Assessment
- Crisis Self-Care
- Technology for Community Action Agencies
Criteria
Conference presentation proposals must include the following information to be considered:
- Presenter biography and photograph
- Presentation title
- Presentation target audience (may select multiple – Board Members, Executive Leadership, Finance, Program Managers, Program Staff, Support Staff)
- Session learning objectives
- Session description to be used in conference publication materials
- Description should be 100 words or less and must support learning objective. FACA retains the right to edit and/or rewrite the description.) Session preferred length (Please indicate 60 minutes, 90 minutes, multiple sessions, or no preference.)
