Millions of people manage money or property for someone who is unable to pay bills or make financial decisions on their own. CFPB has plain language guides and other information that can help financial caregivers to be more effective in their fiduciary role. A representative from CFPB’s Office for Older Americans will present tips and resources on how financial education practitioners can assist financial caregivers in managing someone else’s money.  

Additionally, a speaker from the non-profit Advantage Credit Counseling service in Pittston, Pennsylvania, will share how they are helping consumers who are struggling with debt.
