Florida Chamber of Commerce: Your SBA Financing Questions Answered

April 3, 2020

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, the initiative provides 100 percent federally guaranteed loans to small businesses who maintain their payroll during this emergency. Importantly, these loans may be forgiven if borrowers maintain their payrolls during the crisis or restore their payrolls afterward.

On Tuesday, April 7 at 11:30 a.m. EDT, the Florida Chamber will host a webinar with SBA Region IV Administrator Ashley Bell and SBA lenders who can answer your questions. We know businesses are desperate to learn how to apply for loans which is why we have scheduled this second webinar within one week.

Please feel free to extend an invitation to your key managers as well as this webinar is essential to our collective future!

The business community and our local leaders have questions and we all want answers. To help ensure Administrator Bell and others are prepared, please complete our brief survey before the webinar which is part of the registration process.

Again, we look forward to your participation next Tuesday, April 7 at 11:30 a.m. In the meantime, please keep the faith. We are all in this together.
